Why Do I have To Sign Up?
You need to sign up in order for the system to handle any orders you may place, if you don’t sign up you wont have full access to all of the coljanfotostok features. However if you are only just looking at the photographs, you do not need to sign up.
Why Do The Pictures & Thumbnails Have A Watermark?
The watermark signifies that the particular image or works are protected by copyright which includes national (Aust) & International (World Wide). To gain access to copy right images will mean you will need to pay a fee which may vary depending an what you intend to use the image/s for.
What Does Royalty Free Mean?
Royalty Free consists of images that you purchase once and you are free to use without further fees, you do not own the copy right, & you do not have the right to on sell the image, you only have the right to use the image for your own original purpose.
Can I Buy Prints or Image Files To Download?
At the moment we are only supplying hard copy prints. IE, you choose & place an order and pay, we then print the image file as per your order and mail the print to you.
What Does Extended Rights Use Mean?
Extended rights provide the use of images for an agreed time or period, it does not provide exclusive right or use of a particular image, the image in question may also be used by another entity at the same time. To secure exclusive rights to a selected image requires the payment of the appropriate higher license fee .
What Are Exclusive Rights Managed Images?
Exclusive rights managed images mean just that, you select an image/s to use for whatever specific purpose, you pay the appropriate license fee to use the image for a specific period of time, during the rights period the image is usually withdrawn from the image library until the exclusive rights license period expires, the image then becomes available to others to use depending on the license agreement. The use of licensed image/s outside of the license agreement is a legal breach of copy right which will require a further license fee & penalty fee to be paid.
How Do I Know What Fee Will Be ñharged?
To determine the appropriate usage fee you will need to contact us and explain in fine detail what you intend to use the image/s for, once we know the details we will send you a license fee quote, if you agree with the price, we will draw up an image license release agreement which you will need to sign & date, a copy will be provided for your file.
